we are visiting today a very interesting  project it's a 40 meter steel hull   expedition vessel which which was originally  ordered by a client who order it as a platform   for divers for 24 passengers which are all  divers therefore the boat has been classified   as a passenger ship which means that the whole  safety and stability is much more than a yacht the boat was classified bureau veritas  unrestricted it means that basically she   was designed to go anywhere until latitude 17  north or south last year the project has stopped   to the due to the covet situation the  tourism around the world and the owner has   now decided to sell it as is today i'm going to  take you through a very detailed walkthrough uh   inside this vessel it can either be completed as a  commercial vessel for divers or expedition vessel   or it can be completed as a pleasure yard  with five cabins or six cabins i will show   you the different uh options as we go inside and  visit this boat now this boat has a long range   according to the designers within eight or nine  knots she can go four thousand nautical miles   so she can go everywhere and together with the  high classification the bureau of veritas which   is a french classification society at the level  of unrestricted this vessel can cope with any   condition weather condition and sea condition  just before we continue the directly you will find   my contact details at the video description below  so basically the main mechanical particles of this   yacht has been installed main engines  generators shafts and also propellers   the project manager has decided to remove the  propellers because when they are not rotating   for a long time and sitting outside of the water  this can cause some bending to the to the shafts um so we are running down under the hull uh the  plate thickness down here is eight millimeters as   we go to the water line it goes to six millimeters  and then and then up there five millimeters uh   the stabilizers fins are planned to be around this  area which is the beginning of the the last third   back third of the of the hull and the yacht is all  still including the superstructure but the hardtop is from a fiberglass the yacht was designed to be without a bulb  some kind of an aggressive look it has a 50   kilowatts a bow thruster installed already here  as you can see already the anchors are here   in a very long chain which is also available and  oversized so that was the hull and now we will go   and step into the boat and i'll take you  through the the details now as you can already   see from outside you can see that the railings  are from steel not from stainless steel some of   the windows are a little bit smaller to be a  yacht windows at least for the taste of some   clients and again this is because the yacht was  designed to be an unrestricted passenger ship not   a yacht and the regulation for passenger ship are  totally different in terms of safety stability and and this size of windows and so on so if  someone will decide to turn this vessel into a   yacht it will be possible of course to enlarge  the windows and still keep the bureau veritas   unrestricted i will say it again because it's  a little bit confusing you can still do some   changes if you change this vessel to a yacht  and when i say change this vessel status to here   i mean that it will have maximum of 12 12  passengers now it is confirmed for 24 passengers   and it's under much heavier regulations in terms  of the class so coming back to the initial ideas   if this yacht will or if this vessel will be  turned into a yacht it can still keep the high   classifications things like railing can turn  into a stainless steel windows can be enlarged   and and more so to say the acting  style this vessel can be turned to so we are climbing in and we see the large water platform now this  yacht is nine meter beam which is a huge beam   and you will see it inside uh you will see the  huge volume inside it stretch all the way there   another thing that should be said due to the fact that the boat is  still under construction some major   changes can be done for example this this  area of deck can be cut down to to be lower   and dividing the some of the  areas can be done and and so on okay so this originally was designed as a diver  room what does it mean you see here three big   patch packages of some new equipment this  equipment is professional diving compressors   so there are two regular and one for deep diving  which is mixing some other gases which are natural   which are necessary for deep diving you can  now start to realize how robust is this vessel and this big machine here at the starboard side  is the air conditioning unit and it has some   piping infrastructure to provide it with  fresh sorry with salt water sea water   okay we are going out from the diver  room divers room and we are climbing to the main deck and we keep on climbing until the sun  deck and i will start my explanation   from there from the sun deck  we are on the second deck a lot of boxes here i will explain later  on what is within these boxes and monsters and here we are on the sundeck so it's fairly large sundeck most of it is covered  by hardtop this hard top is from fiberglass and this blue thing that you might think is a  jacuzzi but it's not it is supposed to be a bar   so people sit around it you can see the bases of  the chairs but basically this thing can be removed   and change it's not fastened  yet to the deck it's a grp piece from here it would be a good chance to look at  the four deck it's a massive uh big four deck um   basically it was designed to hold two eight meter  tenders and this crane that you see there up there   it's a 10 meter arm with 1.5 tons  capability of lifting on the other hand   even a small helipad can be a life or a  light helicopter can be placed here or other   sea equipment such as a small submarine or or as  planned in the original plan for two big tenders so we are moving back and then again uh if you see this uh this  must this navigation must it's very commercial   and so again if this boat will be changed  into a yacht style this thing can be removed   and be replaced by a much sexier must for  the electronics and navigation equipment the sundeck is basically bare empty so any  future owner can design anything he wishes here   sitting areas uh jacuzzi and so on now just if  you wonder what why you see this yacht which is   sitting like this it's because we are on a  sleep to lounge for launching so the whole   vessel is sitting not level now the bow is much  higher than the stern and this is why we are   have this feeling of unleveled position  for the yacht so we are going now   down and we will be on the second  deck the main deck is one deck under and here again there is a very large uh open  deck for sun bathing or on the other hand   for some equipment that can be launched  big drones maybe small helicopter   another crane can be installed here and  put and launch some dinghies and so on so now we are facing forward and on the second  deck there are sidewalks all around which are   leading us to the main deck so from here  there is an access to the main forward deck   i'm quickly making my way this is the door to  the pilot house which we are going to visit soon   and here again you can see this huge four  deck that allows a lot of marine operation using this crane or if someone prefers   this crane can be changed to a more  so to say sexy crane like oppak mare or such turning the camera we can see how the how the pilot house the  wheelhouse looks and the hardtop quick turn back   we can see the huge wind losses from data  bear in mind that again this boat was built   as a commercial vessel as a passenger  ship so everything is oversized   even the fact that these vents are high like that  that was a requirement from the classification   society and it can be kept like that if the  boat will stay in a status of a passenger ship   or a shortened replaced with something more  shiny and sexier if it will turn to be a yacht we are moving back towards  the stern now on the port side and quite convenient and wide passages now underneath us in the main  deck there are no side passages   and you will see soon uh what kind  of volume internal volume that gives and we are back into the aft deck of the uh of  the second deck the half part of the second deck   now um there is a lot of equipment new equipment  which is not installed yet these for example are a   fine fan coils for the air conditioning system um  they are staying here waiting protected under this   hardtop and waiting for installations  there are a lot of internal panels here   when i say panels it's the the the big boards  which are covering the walls from inside or   dividing cabins some of the electrical work  has been already done the infrastructure   and can be used the the headroom up here when  when the ceiling will be installed will be   always everywhere 2 meter and 15 centimeters which  is which is a nice head room even for tall people now in this area a few things can be done or  can be originally there were two cabins uh   planned here but this area can be a master cabin  on the second deck uh with bigger bigger windows   and it's a very big space for a master  cabin it can be a sky lounge or can keep   or can divide one cabin or two  cabins and smaller sky lounge we are facing uh forward and we are entering through a  door and we are at the wheelhouse very good 180 degrees view and all the equipment of the  pilot house will be installed here and of course behind the wheelhouse in addition  to everything i mentioned which is potential to   install a natural place for the captain's cabin  can be here just behind the wheelhouse for long   passages and to have his eye open on what's going  on with the navigation and controlling the yacht so i'm moving slowly   um we don't have lightning system here i  asked the shipyard to install some lights   in the lower deck which they did but still you  can see the volume and understand the potential   last look at the aft part of the second deck  there are two passages down one from there   one from here now if you want  to learn there is a entrance to the engine room   the same on the other side this stairway  is leading to the second deck but it's also   giving the space for stairs into the engine room   which we will visit a bit later so it's a very  deep off deck and as i said at the beginning uh   some arrangements can still be changed according  to the new owner's preference sales and needs so we will have a quick look  at the engine room from the top   but we will visit it from inside  there is the starboard main engine   the machinery here is from door sun is a  company from south korea a very big company   there is a generator starboard generator  and later on we will visit it from inside so still on the aft main deck moving inside  to what is supposed to be the salon or a   big dining area again according to the use of  the yacht so here you can understand how wide   this vessel is it's a nine meter port side to  starboard uh at this at this deck there is no   side passages so the beam is used max in maximum  and let's move forward from the starboard side quite big windows here they are all  shaded with some kind of plastic   to minimize the light inside not to affect  the cabling and other systems that already   have been installed but when they are open clean  and the there is quite a lot of light inside here now uh on this deck uh there are also few options  either to put here two big cabins vip cabins   or to put you one very very big master cabin originally this was the corridor in between  these columns um but this again can be changed   and a huge master cabin can be placed  here the windows can also be enlarged   in the condition that this vessel will change  its status to a yacht rather than passenger ship then again quite a lot of cabling above  and a very high headroom which allows   to install all this cabling and other systems so we are turning back and here again you can see the the very very  large volume which is available on this vessel   you can also understand how robust is the  construction it's a steel construction and   a lot of frames put together this is a another way stairway to the second deck and we are moving backwards again  and turning to the port side let's check what we have in this compartment   from here the original plan is was to have  it divided and getting into the crew area this was the galley of the boat or  can still stay the gully of the vessel   it's very dark i know it's very limited  but it's it's a reasonable sized gully   and in addition to the galley this area behind  this door was planned to be the crew mess   so basically these can be somehow combined or um  exchange this volume together with this volume   together with a galley so rearrangement can be  done according to the need of the owner and here   you can also see the another additional  stairways which are going directly to the   wheelhouse and stairways that are coming  from the lower deck coming from here so let's go for a downstairs to the  lower deck from this stairway and this takes us um to the crew area this  is the place where the crew supposed to have   uh the cabins now basically there should be a  four cabins here if you see the volume it can   be very large cabins together with some uh service  area for laundry machines ironing and so on and so   the four cabins here will accommodate eight  crew and the captain's cabin if we place it   on the second deck that will make  nine crew for this boat and that was   how she was originally designed and  confirmed by the classification society   so as we said that i climbed again to  the main deck through the crew mess   back into the salon or dining era area  and i'm moving to the starboard side to the aft corner of it and going down  to see the space where the guest cabins   are located or will be located and here we are at this huge volume which in  normal conditions can have even six carbons   but placing here a four gas cabins in a  standard of yacht will be very convenient   as i said before if we change  the status of the yacht   of the vessel to a yacht the windows can be  enlarged these kind of windows can be enlarged   and you can see this huge massive volume  that will allow to build here four cabins   now uh underneath us in the middle of the  ship and taking down the center of gravity our   000 or 32 000 liters of fuel stowed  down here this vessel has also   water tanks which will hold 11 000 liters of  water and of course together with water makers   and this capacity of fuel there will be  no limitation to stay at sea independent so we will go slowly backwards and  through the stairs that we used climbing back up and we will go to see the last  part of this vessel which is the engine room i'm going to put a lot of photos of the room   the fact that the doors are so high as you  can see it's like 70 centimeters from the   from the deck is again related  to the high classification   uh in case that the highways will wash the decks  then the engine will not be flooded even if the   door is open so that's the idea behind it if you  wonder why the doors are located so high this   chamber is to hold the co2 extinguish material  for the automatic extinguishing system for the   angel room and i'm going to go down slowly and  i'm going to meet you down at the engine room so here we are down here in the engine room   need to be a little bit cautious  everything is open here let's have a quick look around we have one generator here often  90 kilowatts the equipment here is from door   sun torsan is a company in south korea they  have service in many countries in the world   in turkey they have a branch which can put can  give service um and here are the two main engines   port side and starboard the engines has been  produced in 2019 so they are not very old and   the good news about it that they are still  under warranty and the warranty is not running   that means that once uh the yacht will be  completed the engines will be commissioned means   put into work uh dosan will sign  the warranty and from that point   a two-year warranty for the engines will start  so any client that will buy this yacht will have   a warranty for the machinery now this big  box ahead of us is from a company called eco   clarimar which is a czech company and this is  a very big sewage system uh bear in mind that   this vessel has been designed to be a diverse  vessel and will go to very a lot of preservations   places that you need to keep the nature completely  from any uh any pollution so this system is even   cleaning the grey waters the gray water of  the yacht and preventing any pollution um a daily tank daily tank for the diesel and i'm  sorry for speaking so slow because i'm trying not   to fall into these holes while holding the camera  and explaining and this is one of the main engines   and the brand is a dasan sorry i said before  dorsan but it's dosan and it's from south korea   it's commercial robust machine   the the gearboxes are from the same company i  just took a little bit the nylon off because it's   covered here and it's sitting here for about  a year and a half so it's a little bit dusty   but as i said the engines are are new and they're  under warranty which hasn't started yet quick look at the gearbox massive gearbox   population propulsion system which  is going through the the hull through and some fuel fuel pumps and here we see  a totally exposed generator from dosan   it's 90 kilowatts the two pieces like  here quite a significant electrical power and then the daily tank so there is a lot of  equipment that has been already bought like   pumps valves and so on and it is  stored in the warehouse of the shipyard   and once the project will continue this  equipment will arrive here and will be installed
