riyads today we're focusing  on the fancy places some above 100   a night but worth every penny if you're looking  to relax and unwind in morocco we're invited   here to atlas cusp to check out what they have so  we're here at an eco lodge just outside of agadir   the focus is on food that is seasonable local and  plant-based they have a permaculture garden in   which they source a lot of their ingredients  let's check out some of the beauty inside i wish we could go in her mom today yeah i love the smells everywhere here uh in the spa it's an  energetic place that we can   find a cave a therapeutic cave it's making  all by salt so it's working on on the   on your soul and our your energy we we have the  ham the moroccan ham traditional on the top we   we have a therapeutic room uh it's make it by a  lot of pure herbs people like like too much the   moroccan traditional ham and after immediately  after the ham they they prefer to to do a i'm reading message fairy tales i'm going to take a trip into  the garden here at atlas casper so what i really like about this park all recycled  tires here no new plastic going into it just fun   rubber for all kinds of activities indiana jones  that's the biggest goat i've ever seen whoa hi a lovely morning in the garden here it's quite  warm so now i go to the pool and cool off okay how is it kevin it's delicious   drinking all our herbs this week we're  going to say goodbye to atlas caspase that was atlas caspo one of the first eco lodges  in morocco if you're staying in the agadir region   it's slightly outside of the city and offers  plenty of peace tranquility and super fresh   food another nearby city is terror dance and  we have a riyadh there that will blow you away we have a fireplace a little chill out  reception room here maybe play some cards   take a little nap here the beautiful  tapestry i love the the textured walls eh   it's very homey and earthy well i think that's  my favorite part this bathroom here look at this   little garden in the bathroom yeah because  you know he said they have like a little   pipe from the shower to the garden  that's where the shower goes not the perfect but one of the perfect spot when  you can start watching from riyadh means a way   of buildings and configurating a living space  usually with buildings around and facing in and   spaces between buildings are promoted to gardens  and become in this region like a beautiful open space or living space eric and arno they  buy this piece of land to create their own   their own garden and obviously it's a desert  garden desert plants are very happy here for a   holiday home he's originally from france he get in  love with with the property with the place he was   reduced by the gardens uh by the traditional  architecture and the local way of living   he started visiting the riyadh but after a  few moments he realized that the fantasy of uh   visiting his holiday home with his  family and friends was just a fantasy   so he thought why and not to to share this this  beauty with with others and there daryl joson as   a guest house started and it's really the  basic of all the action and the investment   we take and make in times that  we have to create our something   new or revise we first pay attention to the  impact on the environment okay and how many plants   are in these gardens like different plants  there is about 900 plants and a few of them are   are very rare rare okay there is also animals  there is also animals there is visiting animals   and there is resident animals pets we have  about 20 cats and 8 dogs and a lot of peacocks   so everyone is welcome here everyone is welcome  and you mentioned also you usually have your own   gardens yeah we have uh our vegetable gardens  that staples are used in our kitchen we have   also a desert plant nursery all moroccans  are very well known for their hospitality   even here you implemented sustainability how  yeah as i said before sustainability is a   is really at the core of of darwin's own strategy  not to to waste natural resources like water we obviously make choices that allow  reduce producing waste as possible we also   train our people and support  our suppliers to stick to our   rules as much as possible sharing info with  them and educating them the buildings are made   in a traditional way the kitchen  we use the moroccan formula beautiful garden was created when they   dug out all the lands to build the houses and  walls so you walk in here and it's a smell   i have not smelled in a while living in tamara  by the coast and that's the smell of green in this basement garden the temperature is four  degrees cooler at times than the air above thanks   to all the plants making his quick escape  oh and there's another turtle back there too   can you see him in the camouflage the citrus  courtyard just growing all things citrus here   of course our traditional moroccan date palms  next door citrus in a nice pool next to a mom that was the river i hope you like that fancy  place definitely a boutique hotel and it's on the   outskirts of terra net makes a perfect place to  relax if you want to go explore the city you can   because it's so close now let's go back to one of  my favorite towns tamrap for some more relaxation oh since we lived in tamra we never actually  stayed at riyad our haven but we enjoyed the   moroccan hamam as well as massage and a special  offering is a sound healing from tomoko a japanese   woman who offers something extremely unique in  morocco if you're in the area definitely check   her out for an unforgettable experience and also  if you want a comfortable boutique place in tamrat   riyad dar haven next up a chill place outside  of esorera riyad bausala which means compass   an artsy place to again relax and  unwind welcome to riyadh bausala where you walk in first and  it's got this almost fantasy   feel with all these little buildings and  almost fairy looking cottages over there   friendly dogs to great view and  let's go explore around here   we have our main guest house  the classic moroccan tower too   i like the use of the traditional materials here i like this place it's got these levels to it   places to lounge everywhere you  could have your own private time you know here is looking at these  planes and nature it's really nice   here's where we had breakfast it gets a lot of  sun in the morning so it's quite warm and if you   look around me you could see many other couches i  could see like six seven eight couches to sit on   right now could be yours but you must be less than  this think those are one of my favorite flowers take a sneak peek hey i don't think you're  supposed to be in here hey   what are you doing i like  the woods around here kevin   you get a massage when you're here swedish  style california style and what i really like   is the hamam here you could go in and use  it yourself for free which is really nice   and you could also get your scrubs and  everything traditional there as well more areas so do another very family friendly room let it be or not let it be that is the question this is a cool room it's just a massive bed   maybe call it a california king bed but  it is the size of the room i love it   this kitchen because it's open you can see what's   going on in here you can  smell it in the main house   this is a nice little art village   forest and desert feel it's all here  and it's all tied together really nicely was riyad bausala near esorera and i think one  of my favorite parts of that place was the food   that calamari tagine sure looked  good also our accommodation was super   cool if you want to see that you gotta  check out the treehouse video on the channel   link will be in the description i hope so for  our next one we head out east to tamnugult near   agdis to see the draw river valley full of palm  dates and good times among the date palm oasis   you'll find babel wed with its many  animals and self-sustaining ecolodge   culture and it's also the place that  i had the best dates of my life ever this place was really easy to find really  easy to get to from agnes and now we're in   this little oasis with uh palms all over  the place and wait till you see this place this is a family unit you can come with friends  yeah there's always a lot of friends yeah   bathroom you're all important that's so good so these just feel so nice skin shed the peacocks this guy likes people babies four times oh baby cow turkey they like to hang out together yeah he's nice it's okay yeah  yeah you look a bit scared   i'm sorry i ate your friend cow is friendly with the  camels this one's two weeks okay it will be fast are these rocks or is this like i'm really  losing my mind here but this breakfast   i lost my mind just checking out those beautiful  places the good news is part of operation marhaba   which is the returning of moroccans from abroad  to morocco is there will be discounts at many   hotels 30 percent off children under 12 are  free if they're sleeping in their parents bed   and this discount is extended to  all moroccans residing in morocco   as well as moroccans abroad this deal is offered  until september 30th so an awesome time to check   out some of these places they're not the cheapest  as i said there are some of the high-end places   but a great place to relax enjoy time with your  family so i hope you enjoyed this tour of moroccan   beauty and design and accommodation as we explored  places in esorera agadir terodant and hamnugult of   course don't forget our favorite village tamra so  thanks for watching and we'll see you next time
