So, Let's Go! Assalam Alaikum, breakfast is being prepared? Yes, we have Tianshoro for you? --What? --Tianshoro What is this here? --This is the paste for Tianshoro What is this? --This is the omelette What is this paste made of? --Tomatoes, Green Chilli, Ketchup, and Red Chillis Now we're frying the eggs The real taste here is that of the Tianshoro Paste, the eggs only have salt and now we'll spread the paste And then this will be wrapped in salad leaves Okay, so here we have our Tianshoro! Looks amazing! Thank you Khadim Bhai! So, the time to taste Tianshoro is here! We saw it being prepared in the kitchen It already looks delicious visually, it's made with 4 eggs It has 4 pieces, I think one piece is enough for one person Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim Veri nice! It's a bit sweet, a bit spicy. The sweetness from ketchup is there we have chillis here as well Green chillis too... It's different than your tradtional breakfast like Anda Paratha etc

Here at Hard Rock Hotel, Minapin Nagar they have these items as well the traditional ones But trying this Tianshoro is a must! Assalam Alaikum Sherbaz Bhai, how are you? Are we going to Hoper today? --Yeah today we'll go to Hoper Valley We had an amazing tour alongside Sherbaz Bhai, He's a very jolly person feels like he's 18-19 years old! And this is just because of Gilgit Baltistan's environment, MashaAllah So we are right above the Hoper Valley right now? Yes, we have turned from Ganish Bridge to Nagar one, that's where we're going Students are going home from schools. Seeing this educational atmosphere here makes me happy! Golden Peak? This mountain is called Golden Peak? --Yeah And right there we can see the Golden Peak! Oh wow here we have a walnut tree It's a very old walnut tree, look how thick that trunk is! Look at this village, it's on top of a peak! We have now arrived at Hoper Valley and the beautiful scenery just increases, the more we go up! I had only seen this beauty in photographs before Hello beta, how are you! Why are you crying? Do you not want to go to school? She's angry! Go get some icecream! Do we have biscuits? Wait here a second Take this, have some biscuit! Don't cry now, okay! That little kid was going to school mashaAllah, amazing! Little kids going to school, this environnment is great! Have we arrived? --Yes we have, this is Hoper Valley Assalam Alaikum, how are you? This is Sadaqat Bhai --Oh, this is an amazing valley and I loved seeing the educational environment here This such a beautiful valley and I just flew the drone, it feels like this valley is in a bowl! Surrounded by mountains, and glaciers, it feels like a land from fairytales It's not just a village either, we have huge houses, health centres here, it's beautiful! We have ordered the traditional food here but will take around an hour to be ready So, let's go and see what else is happening in Hoper Valley So Sherbaz Bhai where are we going now? --Now we'll go to the Hoper Glacier These are walnut flowers! --Walnut flowers? --Yes!! Just like how we have Neem trees everywhere in Karachi, we have these walnut trees here! Do we have to go there? --Yes --Oh! This glacier is 18 km long, it starts from Rakaposhi to Diran and then to Kepal We'll get the whole view from above when we reach Kepal but all of this is Hoper Glacier It is the world's only glacier that's below the population and it's also the fastest moving glacier by 4 inches everyday! It's not dangerous though right? --Not at all, you can even jump here! I should have brought boots for this Finally, we have reached the viewpoint After you climb all this height, you can rest here for a bit then go and enjoy the view! Look at this! Here we have the glacier, this is a bowl shaped valley, and here we have the Hoper Glacier The mountains are capped with snow, and this is the only glacier that exists below inhabited land! Sadaqat Bhai had told us that, and this snow is rolling down like molten lava, it's like white lava! God's nature really is an amazing thing! That building in front of us is Sadaqat Bhai's hotel! A new scenery comes up in every direction wow! Assalam Alaikum, How are you? This is a beautiful village Assalam Alaikum! We have some elder folks hee and in this area the average lifespan is 100 years! According to a research, they can even go upto 130 years old! After looking around the valley, we're back. Hope the lunch is ready, let's see What is this item? --This is Jooli --That's Dharampeti? --Yes --And that's Daal Maash? --Yes This is amazing! We call this chapati --Yes, but we make it in a special way to eat with Jooli This is a special roti made for Jooli, it's very thin Let's begin then, do I take the whole piece? look at thse huge chunks just like Rosh Along with it we have its curry, it's very thin in consistency. And this is the Khamali roti We'll take this, and cut our meat with a knife because the meat here just is a bit hard We'll dip the Khamali in the curry, Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim It's an amazing item! It's salty, the meat is a bit rubbery It's not fully tender, is it always this way? --Yeah, we keep it that way So it's always like that, now we'll take the meat and dip it in again, it's their traditional item And we can also just have the meat this way, desi style Now I'm going to try the Daal Maash as well The daal is just like any other restaurant, regular and delicious So you can just take this Jooli and have some Daal, and some meat with it.. it tastes amazing! This sure is the right way to eat! This is what's fun This is for Rs. 2000/- and the chunks are so big here that 5 people can easily eat this

So now, Dharampeeti --This is our dessert --We'll take one piece --You cannot eat it all because it's kind of heavy It looks like a Halwa from the inside Yes, the barley is kept in water for 2 days then taken out, dried and made into flour in a desi mill So it's all organic, do you add sugar? --No --So it's a sweet dish without sugar? Wow They have given us this Walnut oil, so we'll mix it in and then eat it Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim It's an amazng dish we make it specially for weddings and guests! The first thing that you feel right after eating this is the aroma of this oil You feel the aroma of fresh and pure ingredients, and it doesn't have added sugar! Added sugar is already injurious to health and this is sweet without it! Sadaqat Bhai, Amazing! --Thank you! What's your name? --Hussain Mehdi --Hussain Mehdi, Sadaqat Bhai told me that you sing really well Which one? --No, my throat is aching right now --No no, just sing a little No no, I can't --You can do it!, tell him Sadaqat Bhai! We spent a lot of time at Hoper Valley, the sun was down when we came back, then we rested And today we will try this special dish called Gorkun What's the 300 years thing? --We have been cooking this in stone cauldrons for 300 years and still do! That's because it tastes completely different in stone cauldrons than other pots! Is this pot 300 years old too? --No, we make them --In that same style? --Yes So the tradition is 300 years old? --Yes, and this pot is also around 40 years old Look at these spoons, are they traditional? --Yes It's our last day at Hard Rock Hotel and we have been served some traditional dishes from Nagar The first thing among them is the DaoDao soup which has mutton, carrots and locally made noodles
